"Healing is knowing our woundedness; it is developing an intimacy with the ways in which we suffer. Healing is learning to love the wound because love draws us into relationship with it instead of avoiding feeling the discomfort." - Lama Rod Owens
About Me
I believe healing and meaningful growth begin with a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, collaboration, and genuine human connection. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel safe to speak openly and know that you will be met with empathy, curiosity, and without judgment.

Our past experiences, and the ways we make sense of them, can shape how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. At times, these experiences can leave us feeling stuck in painful patterns or overwhelmed by life’s challenges. In therapy, we will work together to deepen your understanding of these patterns, navigate difficult emotions, build effective coping skills, and move toward a more grounded and fulfilling way of living.

I value and honor the unique experiences each person brings into therapy. My approach is culturally sensitive and individualized, recognizing that our racial, cultural, religious, gender, and sexual identities all influence how we experience the world and ourselves within it. Rather than applying the same approach to every client, I tailor therapy to fit your specific needs, values, and lived experiences.

Above all, I strive to foster a relationship rooted in authenticity, openness, and mutual respect. My hope is that therapy feels not only supportive, but empowering and a place where you can feel understood, challenged when needed, and encouraged as you move toward growth and healing. I’m here to listen, support, and walk alongside you in that process.

I earned both my master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from George Fox University and completed my internship and residency at Portland State University Center for Student Health and Counseling. Throughout my career, I have provided individual and couples therapy to adolescents and adults across a variety of settings, including inpatient clinics, community mental health centers, and university counseling environments.

Outside of my work as a psychologist, I enjoy spending time with friends, painting, rock climbing, biking around the city, and exploring the outdoors with my two dogs.
